Fr Stan writes …

Lent can seem a long, hard journey if we are trying to live it seriously. Is there light at the end of the tunnel? On this second Sunday of Lent we are given a vision of Christ transfigured: a sign of the glory that comes out of the cross, and an assurance that God is here.

It was a blessing to have Fr Peter Prusakiewicz CSMA last weekend to lead our Parish Lenten Retreat.

I am sure we have learnt a lot more about Divine Mercy Devotions and the great St Michael the Archangel.

Thank you to all who attended as well as to all who contributed, in many ways, to the smooth running of the weekend – the musicians, the projectionists, those who attended to the stalls with the religious articles, serving the morning and afternoon teas and the great lunch prepared and served by the Emmanuel Prayer Group. Thank you!
