The Michaelite Fathers
The Congregation of Saint Michael Archangel (Michaelite Fathers) was founded by Blessed Bronislaw Markiewicz. Headquartered in Warsaw, the Congregation now operates in a number of countries around the world including Argentina, Paraguay, Italy, Germany, Belarus, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Austria and Canada.
In Australia the Congregation has pastoral responsibility for parishes in the Archdiocese of Sydney (North Ryde, Clovelly) and the Diocese of Broken Bay (Terrigal). It also operates a Novitiate and House of Formation at North Ryde for the formation of Michaelite seminarians from the region. In Papua New Guinea, the Congregation engages in missionary work in the Diocese of Wabag and in the Archdiocese of Mt Hagen.

Richest blessings for 2012
On Thursday (26th January) of this week we celebrate Australia Day, a time when we gather to celebrate all that is great about our beautiful country. Why not kick off your Australia Day celebrations by attending Mass at 8:30am to thank God for the blessings he has bestowed upon our nation. Aussie BBQ breakfast after Mass - everyone is welcome!

AUSTRALIA DAY MASS - THURSDAY, 26 JANUARY AT 8:30 am
CELEBRATION: Everyone is invited to join in the celebration of the Feast of Blessed Bronislaw Markiewicz on Sunday, 29th January 2012. The celebration will begin with Holy Mass at 6:00pm followed by drinks and nibbles at the Michaelite Monastery. BYO drinks or finger foods. All welcome!
RED MASS: Monday, 30 January 2012 - The annual Red Mass will be celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal Pell at St Mary's Cathedral on Monday, 30th January at 9:00am. The Red Mass marks the commencement of the judicial term and invokes the guidance of the Holy Spirit on those who seek and administer justice. PILGRIMAGE to ITALY - POLAND - LITHUANIA - BELARUS: To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the death of their founder, Blessed Father Bronislaw Markiewicz, the Michaelite community in Australia is organising a pilgrimage to places marked by the presence of the Michaelites and dedicated to their holy patron, St Michael the Archangel. This pilgrimage is planned for August this year for three weeks. CHILDREN'S LITURGY: Children's Liturgy is held every week during school terms at the 8:30 am and 10:00 am Masses. An additional leader is required for the 10:00 am timeslot. All materials the children need are supplied and you would be "shown the ropes" before starting.
